Meet the experienced and friendly staff who make Broad View Eye Center the leading provider of vision care products and services in Broadview Heights and Berea. Our office would be nothing without these talented and dedicated staff members.
Christina is one of our lead licensed opticians and has been with Broad View Eye Center since 2006. Christina attended Valley Forge high school and then completed a 2 year optician apprenticeship program before receiving her license in 2006. Christina enjoys cooking, gardening, home improvement projects and her newest love, bee keeping. Christina is also one of the world’s greatest Christmas party planners! She, her husband Phil and black lab Katie, live in Massillon.
Debbie Hamlin is our most experienced technician! She has over 10 years of optical experience and brings a very warm and welcoming feeling to our office. Debbie is the proud mom of two daughters and her youngest daughter, Stephanie has recently joined the staff as a part time technician. Debbie has two cats and enjoys cooking, baking, crafts and spending her free time with friends and family.
Jennifer Darlington started working at Broad View Eye Center in July 2013 and wears many hats at our office. Currently, Jennifer is in charge of insurance and billing, but jumps for patient care whenever needed. Jennifer has a passion for Cleveland sports (and she never lets it interfere with her bubbly personality!). She is also an Ohio State Buckeyes fan (which is one of the reasons why we love her!).
Natalie joined Broad View Eye Center in the summer of 2015. She has worked in the field since 2006. Natalie grew up in Westlake, Ohio. She moved to Bay Village in 2006 and still resides there with her husband, two sons, and her dog, Tank. In her free time she enjoys reading, watching movies and cooking for the boys. Natalie loves watching Cleveland sports, especially football. In fact, Natalie was crowned champion of her fantasy football league for the 2014-2015 season. Natalie is now the Office Manager at our new Berea location.
Tony started with Broad View Eye Center in November of 2016 and works as a part-time optician. Tony started making eyeglasses for Cole Vision in the early 90s. He became a licensed optician in 1994, and since then he has worked in both the retail setting and behind the scenes in the lab. Tony enjoys spending time with his family, and home-remodeling in his down time. He plays bass and drums in various bands through his church and he loves Ohio sports!
Stephanie started at Broad View Eye Center in the summer of 2016 as a technician. She is a recent graduate of Trinity High School and she plans to pursue a degree in early childhood education. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Stephanie is also a big Cleveland Indians fan and an even bigger fan of the Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis!
Mellissa joined us in 2016 as our receptionist. She is the friendly face you see when you walk through the doors. After graduating from Rhodes high school, she attended ICM School of Business and obtained her Associates Degree. Mellissa came to us with 28 years of experience managing another Optometry office. Her knowledge, passion and ideas have been invaluable. In her down time, she enjoys reading, doing yoga and spending time with family. Mellissa lives in Parma with her fiance.
Roma came to Broad View Eye Center earlier this year and has been working in the front office checking out patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments and getting insurance authorizations. She has a long history of customer service experience in various fields including the banking and medical fields. She took some time off from the workforce in order to raise her three boys and is excited by the challenge to work outside of the home again. In her spare time, she likes cooking, photography and traveling. Roma and her husband Chris love to take their boys on surprise road trips to visit relatives or explore new places (like NYC, Niagra Falls and Boston).
Kelley came to our office all the way from Green Bay, Wisconsin! She brings with her 25 plus years of experience working in both Optometry and Ophthalmology practices and also an Associates Degree. She moved here recently with her husband and her daughter who attends Brunswick High School. Her son still lives in Green Bay and is attending college there. In her spare time, Kelley enjoys gardening, taking walks with her dog, Rozy, and watching movies. She also enjoys watching the Green Bay Packers play football (she hasn’t experienced the joys of watching the Browns play football yet).
